Platform - MS-DOS version 1.0
Developer - Jan Arkesteijn

Comments - "In this simulation program the flight of a DC-10 is simulated. The program is set up as a pure instrument flightsimulator. You should not see it as a real draw-back that you can't see the countryside because in the real world such aircraft are normally flown on instruments only. There are numerous versions of the DC-10 with different engine types, take-off weights etc. This program is based on the long range inter- continental version, the DC-10-30."

Hallo MiGMan,

Found a link to your Flightsim Museum in the the usenet group alt.games.microsoft.flight-sim and while browsing your site I found in the Visitors Book Archive an contribution from Robert Shiplett (23 Nov 2006) mentioning a DC-10 Simulator. Well, I am the developer of that simulation program.

The original version for the Tandy TRS-80 computer was payware, see attached ad Later on the PC-DOS version was released as freeware, see added manual and instrument panel picture.

If you want to know more about this program and its development history, just let me know.

See you, Jan Arkesteijn
